Tim Ames, whose works have won more than 60 awards in state shows, is sharing his local work. These beautiful paintings evoke our city in all seasons and will be here until the end of the
month.

To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

An all-you-can eat breakfast buffet sponsored by the Oswego High School Lady Buccaneer Softball team and hosted by the members and staff at the Oswego Elks’ Lodge #271 will be held at the Elks’ Lodge, West Fifth and Bridge streets, on January 25 from 8 a.m. until noon.

Another full musical production launches this week at CNY Arts Center with auditions for “Narnia,” on Jan. 21 from 5:30 to 8:30 and Jan. 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Ages 7 to adult can audition for this one with roles for 2 boys, 2 girls, 6 men, and 4 to 6 women.

Dean’s List designation is reserved for students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade-point average in a semester with a full-time course load.

Students eligible for the Dean’s List have a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59; for the Dean’s List with Distinction a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84 and for the Dean’s List with High Distinction a GPA of 3.85 to 4.0.

To qualify for the Dean’s List students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.
