A corps of volunteers spent many hours wrapping over eight hundred presents that will be gifted to residents at one of the many family Christmas parties taking place during the coming week.
The Fulton Lions Club’s second and final “Lions Loot” sweepstakes Early Bird drawing will be drawn at the January 2015 board meeting. A total of five names will be drawn for the prize of $100 each. The Lions Loot event and drawings are scheduled for 1 p.m., April 19, 2015, at the Fulton Polish Home.
The Oswego High School Interact Club recently collected and donated several boxes of food items for distribution at Thanksgiving for distribution to local families in need.
The Christmas card project was part of a holiday celebration held in Pisa’s room, as well as other second grade teachers Emily DeForge and Patricia Roland recently. Students also made decorative ornaments.
The Oswego County Legislature presented a certificate to officers and board members of the Salvation Army in recognition of the organization’s annual Red Kettle Campaign. The campaign kicked off Nov. 14 and runs until Dec. 24.
