Residents of Oswego may place their orders for December Food $en$e packages until noon on December 5. The December package contains Salisbury steak, ground chicken, breakfast sausage, bacon, eggs, pancake mix, hash brown potatoes, breakfast sandwich, mixed vegetables, applesauce and fresh produce.
The Rural Health Network of Oswego County recently awarded Cayuga Community College’s Fulton Campus with a grant in support of the college’s nursing program. The grant assisted the program in the creation of a Nursing Simulation Lab.

Music Instrument Covers was named the 2014 “Next Great Idea” Oswego County Business Competition winner at a reception held Nov. 13, at The Lake Ontario Event & Conference Center, Oswego. The company was awarded $25,000 to start their business in Oswego County.
Several Rotary club members attended the United Way’s Stone Soup Luncheon to present the agency with a check for $250 and several boxes of food for distribution to area food pantries.
Students from Hannibal High School participated in the New York State School Music Association Zone IV Area All-State festival at Oswego High School on November 13 and 14. Students were selected based upon past solo festival scores and were assigned to band, chorus or orchestra
Celebrating a new location, CNY Arts Center will host two holiday open houses and an Author Spotlight this weekend beginning November 22 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the downtown Arts in the HeArt Gallery. New art with handmade original gifts will be available. The gallery located at 47 S. First St. will remain open at least through the holidays.
The city of Fulton Department of Parks and Recreation has announced that the 11th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Jubilee will be held on December 4. The official City Christmas Tree is located across from the Fulton Municipal Building at 141 S. First St. This year there will be free donuts, hot chocolate, photos with Santa and much more.

The Oswego Public Library’s Library Learning Center will offer a four-part EBay Basics workshop on December 8, 15, 22 and 29. Each class is free and runs from 10 a.m. to noon. Topics covered by the instructor include: creating an account, listing items, successful selling tips, and troubleshooting.
