CiTi Students Help Make Spirits Bright

With a focus on volunteer service, students at the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation recently donated their time doing a variety of tasks to benefit the community. The Exceptional Education program offered students a chance to volunteer by participating in activities such as making greeting cards, ringing the bell for the Salvation Army, making blankets and packing food boxes for those in need.

Fifth Grade Community Service Project Benefits Make-A-Wish Foundation

Fifth graders at Lura M. Sharp Elementary School in Pulaski wrote letters to Santa recently, but not to ask for presents for themselves. Their letters were selfless acts to help benefit the Central New York Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation through the Macy’s “Believe” Campaign.

Hannibal Seniors Present ‘Attack Of The Zombies’

Although Halloween is just a distant memory, that didn’t stop a group of zombies from invading Hannibal High School recently for the annual senior play. “Attack of the Zombies” kept audience members entertained and on the edge of their seats during the two-night run. Playing on the zombie theme made popular through network television hits such as “The Walking Dead,” nearly 30 senior classmen took the stage for the performances.

CiTi Students Bring Warmth To Homeless Youth This Holiday Season

The Exceptional Education program at CiTi teamed up with Oswego County Opportunities to bring the gift of warmth to nearly a dozen youth in need throughout the area. Students in grades seven through 12 worked alongside their teachers as they followed directions and learned about generosity to create and donate 10 blankets to OCO programs that aid homeless youth.
