Congressman Dan Maffei visited Oswego during Harborfest. He hosted an open house event at the New York State Democratic Committee Office in Oswego, at Hillside Plaza, 11 Fourth Ave., Suite I.
On Sunday at Harborfest, local youth showcased their talent at the second annual Oswego’s Got Talent Competition.
District Governor Deb Glisson and Assistant District Governor Marv Joslyn recently visited the Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club. She stated she was interested in taking part in club projects and events to see how the local clubs are involved in the community.
Immediate past president of the Fulton Rotary Club, Jerry Seguin, presented Ashley McCann a scholarship check. Ashley will attend LeMoyne College.

On October 28, Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training and SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations will gather women from across New York State for Connections, a conference to be held at River Vista Center in Fulton from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Joanne Lenweaver, director of the WISE Women’s Business Center, will present “Get Inspired, Get It Done.”
