On June 14, at 11 a.m., a stone marker will be placed on the grave of Moses Holden. Descendants of Moses and Sarah (Dunton) Holden and anyone interested in Fulton and Oswego County history are invited to attend the brief ceremony.
Pulaski Public Library’s annual book sale will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on July 24; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 25; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 26. It will be held at the Snow Memorial Building Auditorium, 4917 N. Jefferson St.
Mark Alan Martiniano of Fulton was among the recipients of 48 doctor of physical therapy degrees and 668 master’s degrees conferred by The University of Scranton at its post-baccalaureate commencement on May 31 in the Byron Recreation Complex.
The Pulaski Senior High School Concert Band presented an instrumental music concert, directed by Jack Jennings recently. The final band concert for the school year, the musicians presented an outstanding show for their final high school performance.
On June 7, the event filled-day will recognize 25 years of Oswego County Hospice’s comprehensive, supportive services to patients and families at the end of life and throughout the grieving process.
The Novelis Kid’s Fun Run will take place in Breitbeck Park on June 14. Start time will be 1 p.m. There is no cost for this event. A free T-shirt will be provided for the first 100 entries and finisher medals will be awarded to all participants.
The Oswego County Department of Solid Waste will hold a Tire Amnesty Day on June 14 at the county transfer stations. Normal tire disposal fees will be waived.
