Meghan Yost of Mexico, a junior majoring in History and Political Science, is traveling to San Francisco this week to participate in the Model UN of the Far West Conference as part of Heidelberg University’s delegation. Heidelberg has participated in the Model UN conference for the past 16 years.

Sandy Creek mock trial team captures countywide title, advances to regionals
Sandy Creek High School students took their knowledge from the classroom to the courtroom, where they earned first place in the local mock trial competition on April 8. The program is a statewide initiative in its 33rd year and provides students in ninth through 12th grades with an opportunity to learn about the judicial system via hands-on experience.
Oswego Festival Chorus Concert Planned
The Oswego Festival Chorus, conducted by SUNY Oswego assistant professor Dr. Mihoko Tsutsumi, will present its spring concert on April 28 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 103 W. Seventh St. Admission is by donation.
