University Police at SUNY Oswego charged Marie Demby, 22, with fourth-degree grand larceny Wednesday evening. A student at SUNY Oswego, Demby is accused of stealing a Macintosh laptop computer from another student at 5:45 p.m. April 14 in the college’s Penfield Library.

I was out shopping a few days ago with my granddaughters who are nuts (in a good way) about animals. So, on a whim really, I took them into a pet store to see the puppies for sale. I would never actually buy a puppy from a pet store because I know about the problem of puppy mills, but I thought it would be fun for them. Boy, was I wrong!
Several area students at SUNY Oswego took part in internships this spring through the college’s Experience-Based Education program. The program places students in internships and career awareness opportunities that allow them to earn college credits while garnering valuable life experience.
