Technology classes at the Fulton Junior High School are in for a real jolt! Starting in January eighth grade students will be building robots. The unit in Robotics will span 10-weeks and is part Gateway to Technology, a nationwide feeder program for Project Lead the Way.

“The Next Great Idea: 2014 Oswego County Business Plan Competition” has announced this year’s competition, which culminates with $25,000 awarded to the winner at an awards luncheon in November 2014, said Austin Wheelock, Co-Chair of the NGI Steering Committee. The NGI competition will begin accepting Business Concept Proposals January 22 through April 11, 2014.
The Oswego County Historical Society received a generous gift of a dozen poinsettias from the Oswego Wal-Mart to add to the holiday decor of the Richardson-Bates House Museum. Located at 135 E. Third St., the museum is currently decorated in the Victorian spirit for the Christmas season.
