The CNY Arts Center of Fulton has announced its next Author’s Spotlight, an ongoing program where community members can meet local writers who have recently published a book. On December 11 at 7 p.m., at the Art Center’s Arts in the HeART Gallery, four authors will share the stage: Jo Ann Butler, Lisa Davis, John Mercer and Susan Peterson Gateley.
The Fulton Medical Center will host an American Red Cross blood drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. December 12 in the healthcare facility’s lower level conference room. Members of the public are encouraged to donate a pint of blood during the drive.
The annual event provides an opportunity to buy unique Christmas gifts, or items for personal use. Proceeds from the show will help fund morning program at Lura Sharp Elementary.
At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club meeting Rotarian Ellen Nowyj, RYLA representative introduced Jessica Vaccaro. Jessica, a GR Bodley High School senior, was chosen to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Award program.
Since 2001, the event, held in Sackets Harbor, has showcased quilting as a cultural heritage theme for traveling the 518-mile-long Great Lakes Seaway Trail. The biennial scheduling in part will accommodate the even-year biennial dates of the nearby North Country Quilt Guild Quilting Show held in Clayton.
The third annual Holly Jolly Christmas Party for adults will be hosted by the Open Doors Neighborhood Center of First United Church of Fulton on December 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. The Hannibal Jammers will bring the featured entertainment.

Several programs of Catholic Charities of Oswego County have joined to provide area youth and their families with some holiday fun, as they host Catholic Charities’ annual Family Christmas Party on Saturday from 12:30 to 3:03 p.m.
