With much hard work and determination, Daniel Patane of Fulton, NY graduated as a member of the 209th class from the University of Akron. In all, the summer 2013 class consists of 1,260 candidates from 24 states and 30 countries.
Sarah Skinner, the 2010 Salutatorian of Oswego High School, was recently one of ten student athletes to received the University of Rochester Garnish Award. The Garnish Program was created in honor of Lysle “Spike” Garnish, coach and mentor to many U of R student-athletes from 1930 to 1948.

Interpreting a company from the 1st New York Regiment, Continental Army in 1782 Continental Arms Collectors Association’s Revolutionary War Unit encamped at Behling’s Orchard on September 22. People who visited the campsite had a unique opportunity to learn about the daily life of a Continental Army soldier.
