Oswego Fire Department Plans Open House
The Oswego Fire Department will be holding an open house on October 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The East Side Fire Station, 35 East Cayuga St. There will be tours of the station, apparatus, and demonstrations.

Over the past three years the league has raised several thousand dollars in support of Oswego County Opportunities’ Cancer Services Program Partnership, which provides free mammograms, breast exams, and breast ultrasounds for uninsured and under-insured women in Oswego County. This year’s tournament raised $2,764.

The historically known Hannibal Hotel has been chosen as this year’s item to be depicted on the Hannibal Historical Society’s 2013 Christmas ornament. Originally, the building was known as the American House, was later changed to the Hannibal Hotel and recently opened as the Village Tavern.
Oswego County Opportunities Deputy Executive Director, Sarah Irland and OCO Executive Director Diane-Cooper Currier presented Beth Kazel, director of education services, with a longevity award.
