Cayuga Community College Phi Beta Lambda Business Club members competed at the state Future Business Leaders PBL conference and out-performed peers from many prestigious colleges across the state. Seven students placed and qualified for the national finals in Anaheim, Calif., June 22 through 25.

Most people in the area were unaware of this facility, including the members of the Fulton Noon Rotary Club. Cayuga Community College and Onondaga Community College today announced an agreement that creates a career pathway for Cayuga students to earn an associate’s degree in Health Information Technology at Onondaga. The agreement is in response to a workforce demand for health information technicians specializing in medical records in the regions served by Cayuga.
State Senator Patty Ritchie will honor more than 40 teachers from Oswego, Jefferson and St. Lawrence Counties at a special event to be held Thursday in Watertown. Honorees were nominated for Senator Ritchie’s “Teachers of Excellence” program for their dedication and commitment to education by colleagues, former students, friends and family members.
More than half a million dollars in scholarships, grants, endowments and awards were handed out to graduating seniors from Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School at their annual Senior Awards banquet on June 4.
