Lanigan Elementary School wrapped up the second quarter of the 2012-13 school year with a PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Reward Day for students.
Weather is all around us and nobody knows this better than the students in Mary Hirsh’s class at Oswego County BOCES. The class just wrapped up a weather unit where they studied different extreme weather events such as tornadoes and hurricanes.

Steve Wapen will present first history lecture of 2013 on April 13 at the H. Lee White Marine Museum. The topic will be “Remembering United Nations Week, 1943 Oswego Celebration.” The program is free and open to the public. In June 1943, Oswego became the focus of international attention with the filming of the city’s United Nations Week Celebration – a full two years before the United Nations was officially created.
