The Sandy Creek Central School District Varsity Cheerleaders have had a highly successful competition season this year.

SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations will kick off its new Community Incubator initiative with two appearances in late February by Emily Pilloton, described as “a design activist, builder, social activist and champion of industrial design as a tool to change the world.”

State Senator Patty Ritchie hosted the first meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Agriculture Tuesday, and featured a presentation by representatives of the New York Farm Viability Institute, which sponsors agricultural research and other programs to help bolster farmers’ bottom lines.

SUNY Oswego’s On Screen/In Person series on Feb. 26, will feature a documentary about a rebel chef who wondered what kids are being fed in public schools, and did something about it.

The team, under the direction of advisor Jonna St. Croix and attorney advisor Tim McClusky, is gathering evidence and working on the case of Morgan Martin v. Cattaraugus Programming University.

In 2005-06, the Sandy Creek Central School District Board of Education set policy for the district that opened opportunities for the Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds, and the facilities department to pursue initiatives to reduce energy consumption and make their facility more efficient.
