The Price Chopper Golub Foundation granted $500 to the Friends of Oswego County Hospice in support of Camp Rainbow of Hope. The camp is for Oswego County children ages eight to 12 who have experienced the loss of a loved one.
The Oswego Players’ first show of the season, “Dial M for Murder,” on February 8 at 8 p.m., opens an exciting chapter in the history of the organization. “Dial M,” a classic mystery brought to the screen by Alfred Hitchcock, opens the 75th year of continuous operation of this all volunteer group.

The renowned and well-traveled Ariel String Quartet will perform Feb. 20, at SUNY Oswego as part of the college’s Ke-Nekt Chamber Music Series. The ensemble will appear at 7 p.m. in Sheldon Hall ballroom, with SUNY Oswego associate professor and pianist Robert Auler as host.
