The menu is set and the beer’s chilling in preparation for the Child Advocacy Center’s second Annual Chicken Wing and Micro-Brew Fest.

Artists are invited to get active this week at CNY Arts Center with several dates and deadlines coming up. First up, coffee, conversation, sharing portfolios and meeting other artists is on tap at the Artist’s Cafe, Jan. 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the center located at 357 State St.

It’s knit one, purl two and much more for a group of Springside at Seneca Hill residents that have found a way to enjoy a hobby that also benefits others.

The H. Lee White Marine Museum and the Oswego Railroad Museum are offering “Beginning Model Building Workshops.” This instructional program is offered in a series of Sunday workshops beginning February 17 from 1-3 p.m.

APW seniors, along with their parents, are invited to attend this free workshop to find out more information about one of the most important steps of college admissions, the financial aid process.

Each month, the Fulton Noon Rotary Club invites two seniors from G. Ray Bodley High School to share with the students the things that a service club can do to improve our local community and international world. The students also share the activities and programs they are involved in at the high school.

Not for profit community organizations can apply for up to $1,000 for activities for youth during hours when school is not in session. Projects must be completed by the end of 2013 and provide a direct service to children and families in Oswego County.
