“DeVine Designs by Gail” purchased one of the first reserved table for the Oswego Lions Club Comedy night. The event is scheduled for February 1 at the American Foundry. Jamie Lissow will be the headline comedian for the show.

The breakfast is sponsored by the Masonic Lake City Lodge 127 and the Lake City Victoria 205 Order of the Eastern Star. A full menu of breakfast foods will be available at the Masonic Lodge on Seneca Street in Oswego from 8 a.m. until noon.

The following students were named to the Honors List for the fall 2012 semester at SUNYIT:

Residents can learn more about Oswego County’s nutrition programs for seniors Jan. 15, from 11 a.m. to noon at a caregiver educational session sponsored by the Oswego County Office for the Aging.

Heidelberg University has released the names of 316 students named to the fall semester dean’s list. Included on the list is Meghan Yost, a sophomore Anthropology and History major from Mexico.

The Oswego Players’ cast of the upcoming murder mystery, “Dial M for Murder” will be at the Coffee Nook, 156 W. Second St., on Friday at 6 p.m. Players’ fans will find them in costume, serving coffee and treats to Coffee Nook patrons.

The Sandy Creek Central School District will be conducting registration for the Pre-K and Kindergarten classes of 2013 on February 6 from 1-6 p.m. in the Sandy Creek Elementary School office.
