The following local residents made the Dean’s List for Fall 2012 quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology:

The H. Lee White Marine Museum Complex, located on the West First Street Pier in Oswego’s Historic Maritime District, is open Monday – Sunday, 1 – 5 p.m. through December 23, and will reopen with the same hours, starting January 2, 2013.

Pennellville resident Britani Pruner gives, delivers gifts to residents

The Cancer Services Program Partnership of Oswego County recently received the Outstanding Community Service Award from Senator Patty Ritchie.

Thanks to the kindness and generosity of a young girl Oswego County Opportunities will be able to make Christmas a little more joyful for those in its SAF Shelter.

The following local residents graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in the summer 2012 quarter:

The city of Oswego Firefighters’ Association generously donated a check to Emily’s Mission on Dec 13.

Assemblyman Will Barclay recently met with community advocates Teresa Woolson and her daughter, Sarah Gauger, who are working to help raise awareness about the dangers of synthetic drugs.

Employees from Davis Standard (formerly Black Clawson) generously donated an abundance of gifts and groceries for a family they adopted through Oswego County Opportunities’ Family Case Management program.
