SUNY Potsdam Students Earn Spots on the College’s President’s List
The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named nearly 900 students to the President’s List for the Fall 2012 semester in recognition of their academic excellence.

On January 9, the Parish Town Historical Society held its annual Christmas Pot Luck Dinner. A lovely dinner, as usual, was served and gifts were exchanged, there was lots of lively discussion centered on the history of Parish. The event was originally scheduled for December, but it became necessary to reschedule because of so many illnesses.
The Sandy Creek Central School District Varsity Cheerleaders were named Frontier League Winter Champions for Class C at a cheerleading championship held at Sandy Creek on January 12.

The preschoolers were able to check out the cab of the truck and see that the tires of the truck are bigger than them. They were amazed to see how much bigger the tires were compared to themselves.
The Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County invites you to join them for a great time for a great cause. As part of the annual Warm Up Oswego celebration, the CAC will hold its second annual Chicken Wing and Micro-Brew Fest.
“A typical breakfast with Santa event is often too much for our individuals to handle,” said Marie Smith, program coordinator at PSC. “By creating a relaxed setting, having space available for the jumping and hand-flapping and volunteers that are patient and understanding of those with special needs, is key to an enjoyable time.”
The annual “Halfway to Harborfest” chicken BBQ and fundraiser will be held on January 26 at Gibby’s Irish Pub. The event is always a popular reminder that the upcoming Harborfest is just six
months away.
