The Pulaski Community Endowment Fund’s Advisory Committee is a third of the way to its fundraising goal of $15,000 by December 15. As of November 20, more than $5,000 has been raised from individuals and businesses.

Now through December 3, the whimsical creations of Eileen Belaska Sprague are on display in the lowest level (L2) of the Oswego Public Library. Eileen joined the library staff in 2001 as a library aide.
The reception for the 14 BFA students will coincide with pre-exhibition festivities for four students displaying works in the Master of Arts Thesis Exhibition in the gallery. Both shows will run concurrently through Dec. 12 with the Bachelor of Arts Exhibition in Room 201 of Tyler Hall.
Thanksgiving came to Oswego elementary schools as hundreds of meals were served at Fitzhugh Park and Minetto Elementary as the holidays approached.
Supporters of the United Way of Greater Oswego County filled the Parish Center of St. Joseph’s Church as the community came together to enjoy a delicious meal of soup, salad, rolls and desserts at the United Way’s “Stone Soup” Luncheon.
There will be a benefit for Dennis Collins at the Fulton Elks Lodge, 57 Pierce Drive. It will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Dec. 8.
