ARTY Day Camp is returning to CNY Arts Center’s summer line-up with a week of art, dance and theatre classes Aug. 20-24 and a new staff member fresh from the cast of Godspell which bookends day camp with performances Aug. 17-26.

The Oswego County Department of Community Development, Tourism and Planning is compiling a list of events and activities to include in its “Winter in Oswego County” brochure. It will list events that take place between Nov. 1, 2012, and March 31, 2013.

The H. Lee White Marine Museum presents “Tales Of The Haunted Harbor” on Sept. 1 beginning at 7 p.m. Join us at the museum’s historic Derrick Boat 8 for a night of mysteries, myths and ghost stories. Please note the new start time.

The Minetto United Methodist Church will host a free dinner on Aug. 26. Serving will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Job Corps, administered by the U.S. Dept. of Labor, offers free career technical training for 16 – 24 year olds in auto mechanics, auto body repair, medical & business office, C.N.A., L.P.N, construction, culinary arts, security guard and more.

State Senator Patty Ritchie has announced her “Women of Distinction” exhibit is on display at the Mexico Public Library, located at 3269 Main St., Mexico.

Each year, the Fulton Rotary Club awards a four-year $2,000 scholarship to a senior graduating from G. Ray Bodley High School. This year’s winner is Ashlynn Palmitesso.
