A chicken dinner barbecue and benefit are planned from 1-6 p.m.on  August 26 in memory of Maurine “Moe” Caprin. Maurine was a beloved member of the family who passed away suddenly on Friday, June 15, from a severe asthma attack.

Roberts Wesleyan College is pleased to announce Rebecca Smith was named to the Dean’s List for outstanding academic performance for the spring 2012 semester.

A Basic EMT course will begin on August 27. It will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings with one Saturday per month. An Advanced EMT-Critical Care Course will begin on August 23. This course will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, also with several Saturdays.

The Oswego Tree Stewards will be hosting an Invasive Species Public Information Session on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Conference Room on the third floor of Oswego City Hall. The talk will especially relate to our local trees in the city of Oswego and the public is invited.
