Eastern Shore Associates Insurance (ESA) is sponsoring a blood drive, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.,  July 24 in the Fulton Municipal Building’s Community Room, 141 S. First St.

The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named more than 800 students to the President’s List for the Spring 2012 semester in recognition of their academic excellence.

The Professional Journalists and Communicators of Oswego County presented its annual Muriel Allerton Scholarship Award to two students on June 27. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to a graduating Oswego County high school senior who plans to continue their education in a communications-related field

While at Camp Iroquois, the youngsters will spend a week filled with fun activities, including drug-prevention presentations, boat and bike safety programs, law enforcement equipment and technical demonstrations, and pistol and archery competitions, activities that will afford them a better understanding of the men and women who enforce laws.

To preserve a tradition that Harborfest was founded on 25 years ago CNY Arts Center has been working with the Harborfest Planning Committee and Oswego Arts Collaborative to create new opportunities for the public to rediscover the arts and crafts roots during the 25th anniversary of the festival.
