Jerry Seguin, director of facilities, operations and transportation for the Fulton School District, visited Marysia Czachor’s third grade science class at Granby Elementary School. The class finished a unit of study on the water cycle. Mr. Seguin shared information with the class about how ocean currents and the water cycle work together.

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, a division of SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations, will host its second walking club event at 3:15 p.m. May 23, at Great Bear Springs, south of Fulton.

Fourth grade teachers Heather Lynch, Katie Tesoriero, Cindi Herrman, and Cathy Pepper had their students collect school supplies for students in Guatemala.Each student wrote a letter to another student in Guatemala and put supplies into a baggie with a picture of them.

Lighthouse Lanes and Eagle Beverage are the sponsors for the Hospice Regatta Reception on June 2 at the International Marina/Oswego Yacht Club. This year’s event features a variety of foods from local restaurants, entertainment, a silent auction and drawings.
