SUNY Oswego student Benjamin Gerardi, due to receive a master’s in education in May, will spend the 2012-13 school year teaching in Salzburg as a guest of the Austrian government.
Now, with New York Sea Grant (NYSG) funding, a team led by Dr. Gregory Boyer, from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, and Joseph Atkinson form the University of Buffalo, is developing a model to provide better understanding of the nutrient and algal dynamics of Sodus Bay.

The 6th grade teachers at DMK middle school worked together with Dan Pawlewicz and Lynn Halliwell, Physical Education Teachers; to let the students run a modified version of the Coopers FITNESSGRAM Pacer test before taking their New York State ELA test.
The dance was truly an inclusive event, bringing together the college and the community. We have heard so many comments from everyone who was at the dance – consumers and sorority sisters both, including: “Last night was awesome” and “It was so much fun. I loved the dancing.”
The Fulton Elks will launch the spring carnival season with their 60th Annual May Day Celebration and Bike Giveaway on May 4 and 5.
