Lauren Greutman, who has shared her knowledge of couponing and money saving ideas with families at seminars throughout New York State, and serves as the money saving expert on WSYR Channel 9’s Bridge Street program, has donated three personal consultations that will be up for bid at Oswego Christian Community School’s auction.

Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul held ceremonies in February for 200 first-year students potentially destined to study for three more years at seven SUNY colleges. Of those, 53 students have been admitted, contingent on success this year, to spend their final three years at Oswego, starting in spring 2013.

Established in 1985 as a non-profit community –based educational organization, Literacy Volunteers of Oswego County has continuously provided quality tutoring in basic literacy skills and conversational English.

Scott M McManus of Parish, received academic honors from the School of Management at Binghamton University by making the University’s Dean’s List for the Fall 2011 semester.

Principal Mary Beth Fierro introduced the NJHS program to her school and felt that this would be a wonderful addition to recognize deserving seventh and eighth graders. Thirty-one Oswego Middle School eighth graders were the first inductees.
