A new program series offered by SUNY Oswego beginning March 30 is designed to help managers become more mindful and strategic about hiring, retaining and developing employees.

Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s Kinship Program is designed specifically to provide support to caregivers, who, through a variety of circumstances, have taken on the responsibility of raising their relative’s children.

On Friday, April 6, the annual Good Friday Cross Walk, sponsored by the Greater Fulton Area Council of Christian Churches, will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Holy Trinity Parish, 309 Buffalo St.

After talking with Helen Allen for few minutes, you might ask to see her birth certificate before you’d believe that she’s really 94. This delightful woman is active, joyful and independent.

“While we work toward a place to offer programming, we’ve planned several events to showcase artists all over the region, said Nancy Fox, CNY Arts Center president.  “Our goal is a place of our own but until then we’ll work tirelessly to provide art opportunities for everyone to enjoy the arts now and now we need the artists!”
