The Oswego High School swimming program has a new record board thanks to the Auer and Schrader families. Trish Auer noted, “We wanted to do something for the 10th anniversary of my husband Rob’s death. Swimming has always been a big part of our lives and I knew the school needed a record board.”
The H. Lee White Marine Museum and the Oswego Railroad Museum are offering “Beginning Model Building Workshops.” This instructional program is offered in a series of Sunday workshops beginning Jan. 15 from 2-3:30 p.m.
For the third consecutive year, the Oswego High School Buccaneer bowling team headed to the Festival of Lights Tournament in Buffalo to compete at the Thruway Lanes. This time – they returned with the crown!
OMS seventh south students received a unique opportunity as they were involved in a day long DNA Fingerprinting Lab with a Cornell University professor. Teacher Catherine Celeste said, “This was a wonderful opportunity for students to use equipment to extract real DNA, cut it up and run it through an electric current to determine results.”
