The Oswego Lions Club will hold their 6th Annual “Cow Chip Bingo” fundraiser on Saturday, September 10th, at Cheap Seats Sports Bar & Grille. New to the event this year will be Co-ed Volleyball Tournament scheduled from 10 am to 6 pm, rain or shine.
The Literacy Coalition of Oswego County is planning its first Literacy Awareness Event Saturday, Sept. 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Oswego YMCA Armory located on West First St. in Oswego.
The Oswego County BOCES (OCB) Adult Education department has expanded their course offerings to include the following two new health occupation related courses: Dental Office Receptionist and Certified Administrative Health Assistant.
This year’s picnic, attended by nearly 400 people, featured a variety of games, including softball, water relay, 3-legged race, egg toss, water balloon toss, ring toss, guess how many pennies, a bubble station and more.
Head Start Pre-K continues to accept applications for enrollment. Head Start is a quality pre-k program that enrolls 3- and 4-year-old children at no cost to families. The program’s primary goal is promoting school readiness through the development of social and cognitive skills.
