Youth work on some arts and crafts projects at OCO’s Youth Drop-In Center in Mexico. The center offers visitors a variety of activities.

Oswego County Opportunities’ Youth Drop-In Center in Mexico offers youth a variety of things to do, all in a safe, relaxed environment. Located in the Wilcox Center at Spring and Church streets, the center is open Tuesdays from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. during the school year and 2 to 5 p.m. during the summer.

Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament To Benefit Catholic Charities

Representatives from Catholic Charities meet on the volleyball court at Cheap Seats Sports Bar to discuss the details of the agency’s second annual Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament. From left are: Executive Director of Catholic Charities of Oswego County, Mary-Margaret Pezzella-Pekow; Jolene Bechtel of Alliance Bank, a major sponsor for the event; Gail Cooper of Catholic Charities; and Lee Victory, owner of Cheap Seats Bar & Grille.

On Aug. 13 and 14, beginning at 10 a.m. each day, rain or shine, Cheap Seats Sports Bar & Grille will host a Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament to benefit two of Catholic Charities’ most in-demand programs, its food pantry and CYO.
