The Pregnancy Care Center of Oswego County will be hosting a monthly Open House event the 4th Thursday of every month from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 140 West Utica Street in Oswego (between Vona’s and Canale’s).

The event will be multifaceted, centering around an unveiling of the new indoor exhibit focusing on the history and significance of the National Historic Landmark Tug , LT-5, during World War II and afterwards. The vessel is proudly berthed on the west pier by the Museum, in Oswego’s Historic Maritime District.

As part of Oswego County Opportunities (OCO)’s recognition of May as National Mental Health Awareness Month, the agency’s Mental Health Residential Program is looking to erase the fears or misconceptions that may exist in relation to psychiatric illness.

On Thursday, Mike Petruzzelli told the members of the Oswego Sunrise Rotary about Silver Sneakers. Silver Sneakers is a program that helps older adults take grater control of their health by encouraging physical activity and offering social events.
