Kimberly Kelley, peer counseling program assistant with the WIC Program of Oswego County, has announced the graduation of three breastfeeding peer counselors for WIC’s breastfeeding program.

Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone will close out 2011 Harborfest on the NRG Lakeview Stage July 31. The Brian Lindsay Band and Magical Mystery Tour will open Sunday’s concert in Breitbeck Park beginning at 1 p.m.
Barry Leeman, chair of the Oswego County Legislature and Terry Wilbur, legislator of District 21, presented Mrs. Fresch with a certificate of recognition. She also received a plaque from the Hannibal Free Library, sponsor of the Woman of the Year Award.
Fun, live music by “Jimmy D and the Jury” and exciting prizes are all a part of the seventh annual St. Luke “Bundle of Bucks” Raffle Party charity event taking place on May 21 at the Oswego Elks Lodge.
There will be entertaining activities for all ages at Spring Fest will on May 1 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Oswego Y Armory.
Winning pictures will be featured in the new Oswego County Fishing and Hunting Guide, which is due out later this year. The contest is open to residents and non-residents, as long as the photos are taken in Oswego County. Each person can submit up to five color photos; either vertical or horizontal. Only digital photos will be accepted.
Sheriff Reuel A. Todd said, “Spring is also a time when homeowners should be careful of dishonest home repair companies who could take advantage of them. Spring is a time to be cautious of gimmicks, cheap fixes, and above all, of down payments.”
Located at the Bristol Hill Landfill, 3125 State Route 3, Volney, the facility will be open Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 to 11 a.m. from May through September.

Opening Night at Harborfest 2011 will feature America’s top Pink Floyd show, The Machine and its scintillating laser show. Known for performing a diverse mix of The Floyd’s extensive 16-album repertoire.
