On Sunday morning, members of Troop 41 sold the famous Girl Scout Cookies at Paul’ Big M Market. Each of the girls in Troop 41 are working on their Gold Award, the equivalent of the Boy Scout Eagle award.

The Oswego Cub Scout Pack 888 started a recent Oswego Common Council meeting by leading everyone in saying the Pledge of Allegiance. After the scouts were done reciting the pledge, Mayor Randy Bateman handed each scout an Oswego pin.

A trio of Minetto Elementary School students qualified for the next round of the annual spelling bee competition. Sixth graders Natalie Chubon finished first at the school while Luke May was runner up and fourth grader Jack Dobbs was third.
