In its June/July cover story on America’s best towns for sportsmen, Oswego is ranked number 138. The city also is also listed in the top 20 towns for best trout and bass fishing.

The Championship Gold Diggers’ Team not only won the tournament but did not lose a game/match all day. The team is comprised of women who play together in local leagues and tournaments.

FFA and 4-H students will show off their tractor driving skills as part of the Northeast’s largest agricultural trade show August 10-12, 2010 at Empire Farm Days at the Rodman Lott & Son Farms in Seneca Falls, NY.

“Many auto dealerships are locally owned and operated and played no part in creating the crisis on Wall Street that caused millions to lose their jobs,” Owens said. “During tough economic times when our local dealers are trying to expand their business and create jobs, they do not need new and uncertain regulations from Washington.”

Opened in 1975, the St. Luke organization has provided long term care and rehabilitation services to thousands of county residents and remains one of the largest private employers in the area.

Recently guests gathered at G.S. Steamers for a “Meet the Candidate” event hosted by Ellery Terpening. Terpening is running for Oswego County Sheriff.
