Boston Brass to Entertain, Inspire at SUNY Oswego, 5 Area High Schools

The Boston Brass will entertain at 7:30 p.m. March 27 at SUNY  Oswego's Waterman Theatre, and spend a week in residence that includes  visits to high schools in Oswego, Fulton, Phoenix, Central Square and  Pulaski. A weeklong SUNY Oswego residency for the Boston Brass, who have entertained audiences for more than 25 years, will crescendo with a March 27 concert in Tyler Hall’s Waterman Theatre.

At a recent Sunrise Rotary Club meeting, Rotarian Mike DeLorme  introduced Dave Mirabito, Financial Advisor with Met Life.   A very  lively and interesting discussion took place about the pros and cons of  mortgages, life insurance and other means to help a person maintain  throughout their lifetime. Documentary Filmmaker to Screen Her Work-in-progress at SUNY Oswego

Katja Esson, German-born documentary filmmaker, will offer a free  public screening of her film in progress, "Poetry of  Resilience," at 7:30 p.m. March 23 in SUNY Oswego's Campus Center  auditorium.Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Katja Esson will teach, speak and screen one of her current projects during a four-day residency at SUNY Oswego, March 22 to 25.
