Oswego County Head Start Preschool will be holding an Open Enrollment Day on Thursday, January 28th from 10 am to 2 pm. Head Start is a preschool program for 3- and 4-year-old children with the primary goal of promoting school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children. The program includes nutritious meals and snacks, encourages parent involvement, and family support.
At the regular Parish Town Board meeting on Thursday, December 17 several people were recognized for their contributions and or years of service. Former Parish Town Supervisor’s William Scriber and Frank House joined Parish Town Supervisor Steve Stelmashuck in the presentation to Carl Dayger who served under all three. The district Budget Committee is comprised of the Board of Education members, Superintendent of Schools, central office and building administrators and three community members.
The Empire State Scholastic Press Association presented the staff of the Oswego High School yearbook with several honors.
