SAF Recognizes National Stalking Awareness Month

Victim support advocate Annmarie Barnard (left) and program assistant Meghan Siembor with OCO’s Services to Aid Families Program display some of the materials that will be used to help raise awareness of the crime of stalking during the program’s recognition of National Stalking Awareness Month. SAF is the Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Program in Oswego County that provides services to those who are victims of stalking.

During the month of January, Services to Aid Families, a program of Oswego County Opportunities, Inc., will be recognizing the 7th Annual National Stalking Awareness Month.

Rotarians Hear About Upcoming Fulton Events

Rotarian Michele Kempston, right, introduced Jan Rebeor, left, who spoke to the Fulton Rotary Club, on Chamber related activities she is working on this year.  The Fulton Home Show is scheduled at the Fulton War Memorial on Saturday, March 20th.  Tunes in June will be held on Wednesday's at Noon during the month of June at the pavilion in downtown Fulton.  The revived Second Annual Fulton Jazz Festival will be held on Friday and Saturday, August 13 and 14, 2010, at Recreation Park.  Jan is a "tireless" worker on several community projects and is a past Community Service Award winner.
