Preschool Parents Attend Center Committee Training

Parent representatives gathered recently to attend Head Start's Center Committee Training.  These parents were elected within each of the program's parent groups to serve as officers.  Parent involvement is at the core of OCO's Head Start Preschool.  Parents are encouraged to be involved in many ways, from volunteering in their child's classroom to having a voice in program planning and decision making.  The preschool program enrolls 3-  and 4-year-old children.  Applications for enrollment are currently being accepted. Oswego County Recognizes Judith Reitz

The Oswego County Legislature’s Health and Human Services Committee presents Judith Reitz with a certificate of appreciation for 35 years of service to the county. Reitz is a case supervisor with the Oswego County Department of Social Services. Christmas Music Concert Dec. 11

The West Baptist Church will host an evening of Christmas music on Friday, December 11th at 7pm. The concert will feature the church’s Handbell Choir in a program of several familiar Christmas carols as well as the vocal ensemble Praise 7 and the newly restored pipe organ.
