OCO has recently opened a newly built, five bedroom community residence at 198 West 4th Street in Fulton and have acquired 7 apartments at the East Point Apartment Complex in Oswego. The new facilities will not only enhance services offered to consumers through OCO’s Mental Hygiene Division but also allow the program to serve more individuals as well.
At the big event, Roy joined hundreds of other race fans, looking at the cars on display and the racing memorabilia. The day was made perfect by receiving an autograph from Andretti and a photo of Mario, Roy, and Jim together.
The varsity softball parents association will be hosting a chicken barbeque on Sunday, September 27 from noon until sold out at the Press Box, 29 East First Street in Oswego.
Johanna Domingues is a high school exchange student from Cavalaise, France. Ms. Domingues will study this school year at G. Ray Bodley High School in Fulton.
Students in the Public Safety and Justice Program at Oswego County BOCES held a special ceremony on Patriot’s Day marking the 8th anniversary of the tragic events from September 11, 2001. Onlookers watched in silence as the cadets stood at attention and members of the program’s flag detail raised both the American Flag and the New York State Flag.
Oswego received over 10,500 freshman applications, up 38.8 percent since 2005. This means the college has been more selective with admissions, accepting 47 percent this year compared to 56 percent four years ago.
