Catholic Charities’ Kinship Support Project Helps Beautify Fulton

<p>Children in Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s Kinship Support Project recently volunteered their time to plant flowers at the Fulton Community Development Agency East Office in Fulton.  The Kinship Support Project works with families in Oswego County who are raising their relative’s children and who are in need of additional support services.  Pictured above with children in the program is Chris Matteson of The Fulton CDA Weatherization Assistance Program.</p>

Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s Kinship Support Project held a picnic recently for the families that are participating in the project. The event brought all of the workers and the families together and provided them with the opportunity to get to know each other on an informal basis. As part of the outing, families in the Kinship Support Project helped to beautify the city as they assisted in planting flowers at the Fulton Community Development Agency East Office in Fulton.

Catholic Charities of Oswego County Announces Fresh Food Distribution

On Wednesday, July 8th the Emergency Services Program of Catholic Charities of Oswego County in cooperation with the Food Bank of Central New York will sponsor a fresh food distribution. Fresh foods and produce will be available, free of charge to those in need, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm or until food is gone.

Hannibal Parents Group Helps Success By 6 “Stuff A Bus”

<br />Hannibal Home and School helps ‘Stuff A Bus.’  Members of Hannibal Home and School, a parent organization that supports schools in the Hannibal School District helped the United Way of Greater Oswego County’s Success By 6 program kick-off its ‘Stuff-A-Bus’ campaign by donating $100 towards the purchase of school supplies.  The Success By 6 ‘Stuff-A-Bus’ campaign is collecting school supplies for children in need throughout Oswego County now through August 14th.
