In the past week the Disaster Action Team of the American Red Cross has responded to three fires in Oswego County.  We were able to provide assistance in the form of temporary shelter as well as food and clothing.  Did you ever wonder where the money comes from that allows the Red Cross to provide this assistance to disaster victims?

Birds Eye Foods Supports Catholic Charities’ Food Pantry

</p>The Birds Eye Foods Foundation recently presented Catholic Charities of Oswego County with a check in support of Catholic Charities food pantry. Birds Eye Foods in Fulton recently presented Catholic Charities of Oswego County with a check in support of the agency’s food pantry.  Each year the food pantry at Catholic Charities of Oswego County feeds thousands of families and distributes hundreds of Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets to those in need.

Rising Stars Auditions Begin Tonight

Rising Stars Theatre is hosting auditions tonight and Sunday evening for its production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.” The show will be presented in Fulton for the holiday season. In addition, Rising Stars Children’s Theatre is currently offering youth theatre classes for children aged 5-18 in both Fulton and Syracuse. Classes begin Sept. 20 and conclude with performances Dec. 4, 5, 6, and 7.
