The Oswego Players will continue a summer tradition when their latest production the musical, “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown’ opens this coming Friday July 9. The show is a lighthearted musical comedy featuring the famous characters created by late cartoonist Charles M. Schultz in his comic strip “Peanuts”.
Selections of Grainger’s music: the Children’s March, Shepherds Hey, Country Gardens and Molly on the Shore will be featured. Other selections will include a Medley from My Fair Lady and Trumpeter’s Lullaby performed by Soloist Ron Stewart.
The Oswego Players are continuing an annual tradition of presenting a musical in July with their latest production “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. The play is truly a summer show presenting the adventures of Charlie Brown from the famous characters created by late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts.
“Holidays Through the Year†is the theme for the first concert of the 2010 Summer Sunset Concert Series.
The cast includes: Oswego Players veterans, and newcomers including, Tyler Spicer, as Charlie Brown Richard Mosher, as Linus, Jeremy Edwards, as Snoopy, Dan Williams, Schroeder, Jodi Castello, as Sally and Molly Brown as Lucy .
The Oswego Players will host auditions for the teen comedy “Break a Leg†on Saturday June 19th from 1-3 pm and Monday June 21st from 7-9 pm. The show is a comedy in 2 acts for ages 12-20.
