Casting Changes Announced for The Oswego Players Dinner Show Production of the Neil Simon Comedy “Rumors”
Three of the roles previously announced will be filled by Don Vanouse, Erin McIntrosh and Mark Muribito . The rest of the cast will be filled out by Oswego Players veterans Nelson Metz and Sherrie Baker; Kelly Mahon and Jim McGann; Matt Lamphere and Jennie Snow; and Laura Lowerie and Peter Mahon.
Award-winning soprano Andrea Huber will perform “A Little Weill” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Sheldon Hall ballroom as part of SUNY Oswego’s Ke-Nekt Chamber Music Series.
Opening in the Timothy McHenry Gallery on the Art Center’s second floor will be Willful Eclecticism, an invitational exhibition of CNY artists whose work embodies a Postmodern approach. Opening concurrently in the Jo Hyse Gallery on the first floor of the Arts Center will be a new exhibition of artwork by the members of Hat Factory, a local art collective of emerging artists whose work is diverse and cutting-edge.
Sound design will be “a mix of live and recorded sound effects, meant to give the audience the opportunity to ‘be on the scene’ with the actors,” said sound designer Steve Shull of the theatre department.
The versatile sounds of Central New York’s good-time rhythm & blues, oldies, and variety party band, The Jam Bones will add excitement to this year’s Central New York Great Pumpkin Festival with a live performance on Saturday, October 3rd at 3:00 p.m.
