One of the many fun things to do at Chocolate World is their Tasting Adventure.
It is a multimedia presentation during which we learned to taste chocolate much like connoisseurs experience wine.

The 72 steps leading up to the Philadelphia Art Museum are called the “Rocky Steps” after Rocky’s run up the flight in the movie of the same name. It became symbolic of the ability of an underdog to triumph. Today, some tourists run up the steps in Rocky fashion. Others walk. The view at the top is great.

Chocolate lungsTwo things are touted as being good for one’s health – walking and chocolate. John and I decided to get healthy by taking the Philadelphia Chocolate Walking Tour while in Philly. We met Shanna outside Reading Terminal Market, a foodie heaven with more than one hundred merchants vending all kinds of food items from fresh fish to Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches, and, of course, chocolate.

The Milton Hershey School in Hershey, Pa., is in a class of its own. It all came about at the request of Kitty, Milton Hershey’s wife, to start a school for orphan boys. Unable to have children of their own, they created the Hershey Industrial School for orphan boys in 1909.
The school has grown through the years and changed to meet the needs of today’s world.

My husband, John, and I have been to Myanmar several times. The country has a plethora of interesting sites including Bagan, Mandalay and Lake Inle. But, it is beautiful Ngapali Beach on the Bay of Bengal that draws us back year after year.

Ngapali Beach is a 40-minute plane ride from Yangon, the former capital.
