The red carpet was literally rolled out for the family and friends of The Manor’s residents and rehabilitation patients during the annual family picnic which had an Oscar Night theme. Family members enjoyed a meal with their loved one and mingling with the staff.

Diabetics can enjoy typically forbidden foods such as pizza and pasta using recipes developed by Oswego Health Pharmacist Daniela Tierson. She will share her recipes at Oswego Health’s free diabetes support group held from noon until 1 p.m. August 21 in the Oswego Health Services Center’s lower level conference room.

Oswego Health will hold multi-blood analysis event in Central Square from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. on September 14 at the Central Square Medical Center, 3045 East Avenue in the village. To make an appointment call 341-0011.
