Oswego Health presented a custom-crafted trophy to the winners of its company competition division of the recent Oswego Health Foundation Run For Your Health 5K event held on the Seneca Hill campus.

Cecile Matip, who is board-certified as both an adult and child/adolescent psychiatrist, has returned to Oswego Health to provide care after living abroad for four years. Dr. Matip is delivering care to inpatient adults who seek medical services at Oswego Health’s Behavioral Health Services Department.
Oswego Health’s Center for Weight Loss and Surgery will present an Ask The Doctor program at 6 p.m. Sept. 19 at GS Steamers in Oswego.
Presenting the program will be Bariatric Surgeon Jeffery DeSimone, MD.

The Oswego Health Foundation thanks ARAMARK for its recent sponsorship of its Run For Your Health 5K. ARAMARK was the sponsor of the kids run, which attracted nearly 20 participants of all ages, who ran a one-mile course prior to the main 5K race.
Staff from Oswego Health shared the skills they use every day, from suturing to CPR and life-saving techniques, with students entering the eighth and ninth grades as part of facility’s summertime MASH Camp. The camp, also known as Medical Academy of Science and Health, is a two-day experience that exposes the youths to careers in the healthcare field.
Members of the Children’s Board of Oswego recently visited Oswego Health’s Maternity Center to donate baby books. The local organization’s generous donation allows each family to go home with a new book, to encourage lifelong reading.
The event to support local healthcare will be held August 11 on the Seneca Hill campus, located between Fulton and Oswego, off County Route 57 on Route 45A.
