Oswego Health has named Martin Weitzel, DO., as the medical director for the Fulton urgent care center, located at 510 S. Fourth St. in Fulton. Dr. Weitzel is a familiar face at the healthcare facility as he has worked part-time at the urgent care facility for the past two years.
Oswego Health Registered Nurses Nola Gardner and Susan Callaway, who are also community educators, spent two days in the school’s seventh grade health classrooms of Dan Gilmore and Dan Stadtmiller discussing the dangers of smoking.
Three scholarships were recently awarded by members of the Oswego Health Auxiliary. Each year the auxiliary provides scholarships to employees who are advancing their careers.

Oswego Health Orthopedic Surgeon Shawn Mills visited Oswego’s Trinity Catholic School. Dr. Mills offered a presentation on bones that included his discussing the function of various bones and quizzing the students on their own knowledge. The fifth graders also got to examine several bone models.
Board Certified Family Practice Physician Martin Waldron, MD, has been named medical director for Oswego Health’s Central Square Urgent Care Center, located at 3045 Main St., in the village. A resident of Bernards Bay, Dr. Waldron said he was looking forward to practicing close to his home.

Kendal Clemons was born in Oswego Hospital on March 20, 2013.
Samuel Joseph Clark was born in Oswego Hospital on March 19, 2013.
