I am signed up for all the animal advocacy email alerts I can find, and I am frequently asked to sign an online petition about state or federal legislation involving animals. I always do. But I always wonder whether anyone pays the slightest bit of attention to those petitions.

Pet of the Week – Fuscilli
Fuscilli is an 11-year old, male, tuxedo cat that needs a new home. He is very sweet and cuddly and would be a great companion for someone who can give him the proper attention.

Lily is an 8-month-old silver tabby. She is house-trained, good with other cats, good with children and good with rabbits. Lily is such a people-pleaser!

Lena came to our program one month ago and was in very rough shape. She had just given birth to three kittens, but due to complications during delivery she had a prolapsed uterus that required emergency surgery.

Porky and Buddy Pet Health – What Do I Do When I Find Kittens?
Last week, I discovered four tiny kittens in my garage on one of those sunny days. I picked them up, brought them inside, and called the Humane Society.
