The holidays are over and it’s time to get serious about getting through the winter with your pets. Let’s start by making a New Year’s Resolution that your pets are not going to die from antifreeze poisoning! Not very cheery, we know, but important.

This is Caesar, all dressed up in his best tuxedo and ready to chime in the New Year with you! He’s been featured as Pet of the Week before. We just can’t figure out why he hasn’t been adopted yet.

My chihuahua, Ernest, is a perfect dog in every way except for one thing. He hates to go outside to do his business when it’s really cold. He really hates it and even if I put him out, he just wants to come right back in and then he waits for a while and poops somewhere inside where I find it later.

Delta is a sweet cuddly youngster who is ready to add lots of cheer to any home this holiday season! He is good with other cats, dogs and children. He is also incredibly affectionate, snuggly and playful with grownup humans – a perfect cat.

Gin and Tonic are two brothers, about 10 months old. Gin is more outgoing. He loves cuddles and attention, and is more the goof-ball of the pair. Tonic is a gentleman, polite and shy at first but he feels more comfortable when his brother is around.

She is a short-haired black and white tuxedo, named after the late Dian Fossey, a primatologist and conservationist who spent her life as a protector and friend of Mountain gorillas. You don’t need to travel deep into the mountain forests to find this little monkey though. She can be found mingling with her siblings or going bananas with a good toy.

A few days ago, the Food and Drug Administration issued a warning and notice of recall of a number of brands of dog food, some of them distributed nationally, all which have been found to contain excessive levels of Vitamin D, up to 70 times the recommended level.

I am getting ready to adopt a feline friend for the first time and my kids saw a kitten on Petfinder.com and want me to adopt a kitten. I was thinking about adopting an adult cat, especially since my kids are a little rambunctious, to put it politely.
