Community Bank Donates $10,000 to Friends of Great Bear

The Pulaski Historical Society will be participating in the Village-Wide Yard sales on May 19 and 20, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Along with the yard sale, there will be hot dogs and beverages for sale.
Top Hat Solutions, CNY Arts Center’s new comedy improv troupe under the direction of Arts Center veteran Jess Tetro is returning for the second in a series of appearances during 2017. The comedy company will entertain mature audiences (ages 17 and up) at 9 p.m. May 20.
The annual ARISE and Ride for Ramps event will take place on June 3 at Lighthouse Lanes in the City of Oswego. The event offers something for the whole family: a 5K walk/run, motorcycle ride, music and great food. The day will start at 9:30 a.m. with an exciting 5K run/walk around the famous Oswego Speedway.
More than 1,800 SUNY Oswego students gave up their dining center meals April 20, raising $5,695.96 to benefit the Rescue Mission and ensuring that homeless people will receive more than 2,500 meals through the statewide charitable alliance.
Leadership Oswego County, a community program administered by SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations, will hold the Class of 2017’s graduation ceremony at 6 p.m., June 7, in Sheldon Hall ballroom on SUNY Oswego’s campus. This year, the program will honor three community members.
More than 30 Ithaca College students were inducted into the Tau Sigma National Honor Society, an academic honor society designed specifically to “recognize and promote the academic excellence and involvement of transfer students.”
“We are both enthused and delighted to have Kim and her operations experience on the ESA team,” Martha Murray, agency president, said. “She works at our Fulton headquarters and reports directly to Regina Lunkenheimer, our chief operating officer.”
Ashley Cummins from Fulton has been awarded a President’s Award for Leadership from the University at Albany.
Missy Calverase has been promoted to senior vice president/treasurer at Eastern Shore Associates Insurance. She was formerly vice president/treasurer.
