The winter work schedule at our Richland headquarters is in full swing, delayed for a time due to the excessive snow in January. During the weekend of February 25-26 we were able to remove some sheet rock on our back wall that we have long desired to replace, adding some new electrical in the process. We also worked that weekend to catch up on files and correspondence.

I just got back from my vet with my cat, Charlie, and I am totally confused. I thought that every cat always got the same vaccines on the same schedule. She said it was not so simple – there are four “core” vaccines (FPV, Rabies, FHV and FCV) that almost all cats should have, with a few very rare exceptions. But, there are six more that they can have depending on their “lifestyle.” I ended up just having the core vaccines, I guess because he’s an indoor cat and never travels or gets boarded, but when did it get so complicated?

Students at John C. Birdlebough High School recently received a lesson in inclusion and adaptability during physical education classes facilitated by Move Along Inc. The organization aims to provide adapted recreational opportunities for people who live with disabilities in Central New York.
